For Joe

As I count my daily blessings
I give thanks for you.
You fill my days and nights
with a love and happiness
that I have not known
for many, many years.
You bring a smile to my face,
joy to my heart,
tears to my eyes,
and a song to my lips.
You are special
and unique,
and I am thankful
that I found you,
and you found me;
that we continue
to find each other,
through talking,
and listening
to each other.
